What an idea, to build a hotel on top of a plantation! Hotel Chocolat  is what came out of the land owners’ brains after a relatively animated night. Because the land itself brought them so many good memories, they decided that they wanted to share these bright moments with people who wished to do so also… through chocolate. The hotel complex has therefore opened its doors in 2012 and has since then welcomed tourists, and amazed every single one of them.

A beautiful pool offering a view of the bordering mountains is reserved for visitors staying at the hotel. A heavenly and relaxing area where relaxation is prioritized, and where the Piton mounts blend in perfectly with the modern architecture. This haven is ideal after enjoying a session at the Hotel Chocolat spa – sessions that, of course, involve cocoa. Massage, cocoa exfoliation, facials, and more. The spa is an interesting concept and connects us with our senses and refreshes our spirit.

The rooms are luxurious and rustic, blending a trendy décor with natural wooden accents. The bathrooms are comfortable and the outdoor resting areas are all you need to enjoy wellness and relaxation in the great outdoors – or on the great plantations. What’s more? The private outdoor showers – a huge trend in Saint-Lucia – that literally take you in the splendid nature.

It is finally possible to visit the place for its restaurant, Boucan, which is a hot spot in the area. The menu is well composed of cocoa-based recipes, and the experience is absolutely irresistible. Other than tasty desserts, there are also meticulously planned and creatively executed dishes. What to say about the splendid view the terrace offers? Boucan is without a doubt an address to keep in mind, if you are not planning on spending a night at the Hotel Chocolat.
