I’ve been to Tremblant a few times already yet I had never stayed at the Quintessence until recently. I knew of it, but I had no idea how splendid the establishment was. I recently spent the night, and let me tell you, I had been missing out. Here’s why.
Firstly, the service is welcoming and extremely professional. What makes luxury hotels stand out is often the little details, and they make all the difference. The Quintessence quickly charmed me. The hotel looks like a huge wooden cabin, and the lobby is the entryway to a stunning back terrace.
The rooms are spacious and high-end; even the smallest suites are huge and house both fireplaces and balconies, and what can I say about the freestanding bathtub! Everything about the establishment is warm and peaceful. When I arrived, I only wanted one thing, and that was to stay longer.
I was surprised to visit one of the nicest spas in the region. With a gigantic pool and a steam bath that offers a view of the lake and the authentic nature, I was not disappointed. I was also treated to an excellent massage, and I definitely recommend a small getaway to the spa if you get to stay at the hotel.
The 4-Diamonds restaurant offers a nice selection of wines and an array of dishes. My favourites were the oysters, the coconut shrimps and the truffle scallops. The dim lighting adds ambiance to the muted atmosphere and is comforting and refined. I ended the night with a cheese platter and a sorbet dish — which I shared with Veronique, my fellow blogger — and I couldn’t help but to take a look at the stunning exterior terrace that must be so magical during the summer. I will be back, that’s for sure.
I left the Quintessence rested and happy. As a fan of luxury hotels, I was happy to find out that such a nice and magnificent establishing could be found in our province. The verdict? No need to take the plane for a luxurious getaway anymore. If you are around the area and do not plan on staying at the Quintessence, you must at least get a bite or a drink there, in order to fully enjoy the beauty of the region.
